Initially established to be the USA distribution network of the an Icelandic exporting company, by the turn of the new millennium Omega had become the largest importer of fresh Chilean and Peruvian scallops in the entire USA.

Today Omega continues to grow & diversify it’s scallop operations. We presently private label for some of the largest seafood wholesalers in the USA. We also have multi faceted programs for the importation of raw materials from all over the world.
Omega has had a presence in the Gaspe Peninsula of Quebec since 1995. We have been the exclusive US importer and distributor for the “Caravelle” label – one of the most popular labels of coldwater pandalus borealis shrimp in the northern Gulf of St Lawrence region.
Around the Gaspe coast to the south, where the gulf meets the Baie du Chaleur, Omega’s representatives deal directly with the lobstermen. We are the exclusive US importer & distributor of the world renown “Chaleur Bay” brand of meat & tails.
